02 / What We Train

The Four Pillars
Of HYROX.

HYROX has eight stations and eight 1km runs. Four physical qualities determine how fast you finish. All four are built into our weekly programming.

Run Conditioning

8km of running broken into 1km segments. Pace control under fatigue. We build aerobic capacity and lactate threshold so you keep moving.

Strength Endurance

Farmer's carries, wall balls, lunges, sandbag work. Heavy stuff done while you're already cooked. The kind of strength that holds up under fatigue is what HYROX is really testing.

Station Skill

Skierg, rower, burpee broad jump, lunges, wall balls. Each station has technique. We drill it so the movements are efficient and repeatable.

Work Capacity

The general ability to keep moving when it gets hard. Built through consistent programming over time, not a magic taper. The athletes who do well on race day are the ones who show up week in, week out.

Every week our group classes touch the qualities HYROX rewards. Ski erg, rower, wall balls, lunges, burpees, farmer's carries, running. Not as a HYROX block. As normal strength and conditioning. Show up to the regular classes and you're training for HYROX.

Start with a free week of group training. No credit card. Get a feel for the classes, the coaches, and the programming.

Join The Programme

If it's a fit, you join group coaching like everyone else. The HYROX movements and conditioning are already in the weekly programming.

Race Day

Sign up for a HYROX event when you're ready. Show up to compete. We'll be in your corner.

Depends on your starting point. A reasonably fit person needs 8-12 weeks. A complete beginner needs 4-6 months. We assess on the strategy call.
Yes, we have everything HYROX uses: ski erg, rower, sleds, wall balls, sandbags, kettlebells, weighted vests, the lot. All the gear you need to train the movements properly.
