This program is an opportunity for both new and experienced athletes, Grades 7-10, to focus on strength and conditioning.
All classes follow specifically designed programming under the supervision of our Coaches.
The movements are performed with skill progression in mind, and this class is open to ALL fitness levels!
Warm-Up & Mobility: After explaining the session, we do a thorough warm-up and work on mobility to improve posture, flexibility and prepare their body for the session.
Skill & Strength Work: All classes will work on a skill/specific point of performance and development which will progress throughout the program. We keep learning and developing strength in the selected movements over a periodised block, allowing adequate time to improve performance and establish sound motor patterns.
Conditioning: The conditioning portion of our program utilises all functional movements. They will always be different and never dull and boring. At the same time, they are allowing the teens to work through an array of different situations while developing the highest levels of fitness and performance possible. The workouts are time-based, whereby the ‘amount’ of work done in that time may be different due to their capacity. Still, everyone finishes at the same time (no need to worry about someone being the last to finish).
Recovery & Mobility: We finish off with stretching and mobility to ensure they are not only getting fit and strong but also healthy and mobile too.
