Have You Had Some Success But Hit A Plateau?
Have you have been consistent with your training, but now results have slowed?
Or have you reached a point where you need a change and are currently taking one step forward and two steps back?
Time to be around like-minded people with the experience you need to help you achieve what you are capable of.
You probably also find yourself doing other things where you (un)consciously sabotage any remaining success – which doesn’t help.
And you want to align your thoughts and behaviours consistently to keep progressing to your goals.
There is also that other part of you that is questioning if you are doing the things required to get where you want to go.
- Am I doing the right training?
- Am I eating the right macronutrients?
- Am I training hard enough?
- Am I possibly training too hard and not recovering?
Everyone is unique.
A one-size-fits-all program doesn’t get you the results you are after.
There comes a time in your journey where you need to change things to ensure your constant progression.
Take a look at the average person who ‘goes for a run’, or ‘goes to the gym’ or ‘pump class’ a few days per week.
Maybe when they first start training, they see some success – then after a few weeks, things seem to stay the same.
We are an organism, and if the stress imposed doesn’t change – neither do we.
Your program needs to be continually changing and evolving – as your experience and capacity increases.
Likewise, what you eat needs to be tailored to your activity level, goals and history.
What you initially started eating was overcome with some exercise. But then you get to a point where you can’t outwork a poor diet.
Do you tolerate carbs well? When should you have them? Or are you undereating which is causing you to hold fat?
How are you recovering? Are you just an exercise bunny chasing the high after exercise to wake you up? A band-aid (and unhealthy) fix to adrenal dysfunction?
The answer is – You don’t know until you get appropriately assessed.
Don’t keep working hard with anything to show for it (or even worse, start to go backwards)
