What do you enjoy most about coming to CrossFit Chipping Norton? The thing I enjoy most is the group that we train with and the encouragement and support that we all offer each other. And the awesome coaches of course……
Name some of your achievements since starting with CrossFit Chipping Norton: Where do I start… I’ve lost 13kg, I have reduced my alcohol intake by about 60% each week, my pants fall down when I don’t have a belt on, I don’t make as many grunting noises when I’m putting my socks on in the morning and I can now (sort of) do burpees
Goals: To reach the weight that I was when I left school (15kg to go), to be able to do pull-ups and to do burpees like a boss
Favourite Movie: Scent of a Woman
Favourite Food: Wood Fired Pizza (cooked in the Pizza Oven that I built before I started Crossfit).
Favourite CrossFit movement or WOD: Any team WOD as I have no doubt in my mind that I push myself harder. I also quite enjoy doing Back Squats.
Least favourite CrossFit movement or WOD: I have a love/hate relationship with the rowing machine……………….. and burpees of course.
Something people may not know about you: I was school captain in 1983 (before some of my training buddies were born)
Who or what inspires you? My son Jack, my wife Alison and I’d have to say Big Bad Con – he’s a massive smart arse but all jokes aside, his weight loss is nothing short of amazing. In fact I get inspired every day by the people that I train with.
