Clients of the Month for May 2018 are Rachael and Charles Vis!
Meet Rachael and Charles Vis, one of the many friendly and fit couples that trains out of CrossFit Chipping Norton, these two are an awesome bunch who are quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with! Charles first came to train with us as one of the members of our successful 6 Week Challenge teams to lose a bit of weight but has since then become quite the beast. Not only that, he introduced his wife into the fun and she too is becoming stronger and fitter over the past months. Not afraid to learn some extra skills for their arsenal, you can find them at the arvo CrossFit, gymnastics or Olympic lifting classes, always with the best, positive aura and vibes. They’re a busy working family with their little kid, Hendrix, but have managed to put their health and fitness on priority and maintained consistency in classes, inspiring others to come and train as groups. You guys are doing so well, keep it up, we’re excited to see where you guys go in the future ahead!

What do you enjoy most about coming to 365 Performance?
R: Hendrix is welcome! Being able to train alongside Charles. The amazing friends we have made!
C: Obviously the fact I get to train with/against my wife and kick her ass in workouts! The opportunity to expose Hendrix to an energetic, active and positive lifestyle surrounded by supportive like-minded people.
Name some of your achievements since starting with 365 Performance?
R: Attendance! I’ve accumulated a few unused memberships in the past. Perseverance! I used to be a quitter. Rope climbs! I can beat Charles.
C: Losing over 9kg and 6% body fat in 6 weeks while eating burgers and drinking beer. Inspiring the wife to join and continuously challenging her to beat me at workouts!
What are your favourite movies?
R: The Hunger Games, Dear John, Avatar.
C: All Dwayne Johnson movies – kidding, Top Gun, Step Brothers.
What are your favourite foods?
R: Pad Thai, Chicken Parmigiana, Tiramisu.
C: Hot chips on fresh bread with tomato sauce. Pork Ribs with hot chips. Any quality beef burgers with all the trimmings. And hot chips.
What is your favourite WOD or movement?
R: Anything that doesn’t involve a bike.
C: Calf Raises – I wish. Heavy Grace that we knocked out one Saturday
What is something that people may not know about you?
R: I grew up in remote NSW. I love to cook. I found my husband on an app. #tinderwife. (One of these is a lie!)
C: I have visited over 40 countries and counting.
