Our 365 Kids & Teens program is geared and designed for a younger population and the specific developmental needs of that population.
With this program we aim to shape lives as opposed to changing lives, we hope to reverse prevalent health trends and create a community of young like minded individuals. The benefit of our 365 Kids & Teens programs is not only general fitness and health, but they will learn valuable life skills that will be transferable from their experiences in the gym to the outside world through strength, both mentally and physically, through perseverance and creating a good work ethic.
These two programs combine gymnastics, body-weight calisthenics and weightlifting elements to develop capacity across the 10 General Physical Skills;
The 10 General Physical Skills your child will practice in the gym are used in everyday life, from running for the bus, to picking up a heavy backpack, running up the stairs, jumping across a creek, or a running race. Your child will be prepared for most things life hands to them and be able to do so being less susceptible to injury.
Our 365 Kids & Teens programs number one rule is FUN!! It is imperative for them to pair fitness with fun and create a lifelong love of health and fitness!
This program is an opportunity for both new and experienced athletes, Grades 7-10, to focus on strength and conditioning. All classes follow specifically designed programming under the supervision of our Coaches. Every movement is performed with skill progression in mind, and this class is open to ALL fitness levels!
Time: Every Mon/Tue/Thu 3.30pm @ 365 Performance Milperra. The class goes for one hour.
Warm-Up & Mobility: After explaining the session we do a thorough warm-up and work on mobility to improve posture, flexibility and prepare their body for the session.
Skill & Strength Work: All classes will work on a skill/specific point of performance and development which will be progressed on throughout the program. We keep learning and developing strength in the selected movements over a periodised block, allowing adequate time to improve performance and develop sound motor patterns.
Conditioning: The conditioning portion of our program utilises all functional movements. They will be always different and never dull and boring. While allowing the Teens to work through an array of different situations while developing the highest levels of fitness and performance possible. The workouts are time-based, whereby the ‘amount’ of work done in that time may be different due to their capacity, but everyone finishes at the same time (no need to worry about someone being the last to finish).
Recovery & Mobility: We finish off with a good recovery period and once again with mobility to ensure they are not only getting fit and strong, but also healthy and mobile too.

Investment: $20/Session or $45/week.
Time: Every Saturday @ 10.30am @ 365 Performance Chipping Norton. The class goes for a duration of 45 minutes.
Whiteboard: We begin at the whiteboard filled with pictures and colours and explain the class activities in a child friendly way.
Fun Warm-Up: Can be game based, skill based or a combination of the two.
Focus/Skill Work: All classes will work on a skill/specific point of performance every 6 weeks (i.e. Squat and Deadlift). We keep learning and developing the movement (no weights) over a 6-week period, introducing a new skill every 6 weeks.
Workout: Our 365 Kids Program is not simply a scaled down version of our regular program, it is entirely geared and designed for a special population and the specific developmental needs of that population (Neurological, cognitive, motor). In other words it is ESSENTIAL for child health, growth and development.
Game: We finish with a game for the appropriate age. Once again, ensuring they link fitness with FUN.
