Client of the Month for September 2018 is Daniel Turnbull!
Meet the always smiling Daniel aka ‘Dan Dan’, he’s the bloke that will partner up with you in any partner workout or even an after-class core strengthening program, you can’t miss the guy as he is basically here at the gym every day without fail and brings along a huge bag of cheekiness and some truly creative profanity when intensity goes up a notch. He initially started out as a 6 Week Challenge client with the goal of fat loss, but after which he had gained so much more then dropping numbers on the scale, he’s gained strength, stamina, confidence, well being, and friends in our community. In his own words, he said, “Joining here was the best life decision ever.” This guy is a changed man who has a renewed lease on life. We are so proud to have you as part of our crew, you bring fun and joy to every class you attend! Congratulations buddy!

What do you enjoy most about coming to 365 Performance?
365 Performance or the ‘house of pain’ is my happy place that I love walking in the doors, knowing that I’m about to get destroyed. Also I love the new friends I have made along the way that have taught me so much and have put up with my profuse sweating and excessive swearing during WODs.
Name some of your achievements since starting with 365 Performance?
I’ve lost 7kg and something like 6cm of my waist, I’ve also most definitely noticed a huge difference in my cardio and overall stamina.
What are your favourite movies?
Well, I would definitely have to say ‘Cool Runnings’ is up there, I also love any of Tarantino’s films.
What are your favourite foods?
My world famous meatballs and spaghetti with homemade sauce, but if we’re talking about sweeties it would be doughnuts and baklava.
What is your favourite WOD or movement?
While I’m doing them I hate them all. You will often see me swearing at kettlebells and other pieces of equipment, but I would have to say I don’t mind doing deadlifts also abmat sit-up with a medicine ball.
What is something that people may not know about you?
There’s probably a lot that most of you guys and girls don’t know about me, but I’m an open book so if you see me and want to have a chat or need a workout buddy just come over and say hi! I don’t bite 🤙
