Client of the Month for August 2016 is Lisa Crouch!
Lisa has come a long, long way since starting with us back in mid-2015. When she first started she had very limited mobility and little body awareness, which severely limited the number of movements she could do during workouts. However with unwavering persistence, Lisa has been working hard with working on rehab work and mobility drills, and training consistently to the point where she has become strong enough to lift heavier weights and do Olympic lifts with confidence! Congratulations Lisa, you are an inspiration to us all!
What do you enjoy most about coming to 365 Performance?
I love the challenge i face each time i walk through the doors of the gym. I also really enjoy the support and kick in the pants i get, from not only the coaches, but also the other guys working out to get it done. Working out by myself is no where near as fun or effective
Name some of your achievements since starting with 365 Performance?
Since beginning at 365 I am able to squat and almost sit cross legged – almost! This sounds odd, but after many knee surgeries I was told that my knees were about as good as they would get…..we have proved them wrong. I can now back squat 85kg and deadlift 110kg. More to come!
What are your favourite movies?
This is a difficult question – Cool Runnings, any true stories and anything musical
What are your favourite foods?
I really like Thai food, especially Satay. Turkish delight and this amazing salted caramel cashew icecream!
What is your favourite wod or movement?
Deadlift! But the strongman lately has been really fun. Challenging me with pushing and pulling movements. Cool
What is something that people may not know about you?
I work on a cruise ship, i play many instruments and i once performed for Lady Diana
